"This year I came for wooden crafts and headbands," Phillips said, picking out flowers to pin to the beaded headband she chose for her 13-month-old daughter, Rebecca.
"I have a weakness for them."
On Thursday, Phillips joined hundreds of others shoppers for the first day of the annual Christmas at the Market craft show.
The event, which began Thursday and ends Friday, features more than 100 local vendors selling everything from homemade soaps, knitted items, art work, jewelry and food items.
"There's even someone here who does gluten free cooking," said Mary Walsh, the organizer.
"There is a lot of variety. Each year, we get anywhere from 10 to 20,000 people walking through."
Walsh said what makes the market special is the fact vendors are selling unique items you can't buy in a store.
"It's all homemade products," she said.
"It's anything that anyone can make and we encourage that. We don't encourage stuff that's not homemade.
