SOUTH CARVER – NECN’s TV Diner host Billy Costa will be on hand at Edaville USA Friday, Dec. 16, to help ring in the Christmas season in style and help collect gift donations for the Plymouth Boys and Girls Club. Costa, who also has a regular gig on KISS 108 FM, will be on hand from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to greet guests. Anyone contributing an unwrapped gift to fill Edaville’s antique sleigh will receive $5 off on Friday’s admission. Park patrons will be able to step back in time as the Edaville crew will be running two locomotives, including old #21, the Jack Augustus Christian, a steam engine built in 1936 by Hudswell, Clarke & Company, LTD, in Leeds, U.K. So bundle up the family and head on over to Edaville Friday night for some historic Christmas fun and help a good cause while you are at it.

Passengers relax comfortably in warm and dry coaches while riding through a spectacular holiday setting featuring an explosion of lights during the Festival of Lights at Edaville. Kids of all ages can enjoy an array of vintage amusement rides and a visit with Santa in one of the indoor play areas. The Christmas Festival of Lights hours are from 4 to 9 p.m. weekdays and from 2 to 9 p.m. weekends Dec. 14-23, 25-30 and Jan. 1. Tickets are $18 adults and kids (ages 2-64) and $16 seniors. Children under age 2 are admitted free.
