Wales defender Danny Gabbidon's 73rd-minute goal gave QPR a 1-0 win at Loftus Road, earning the team a fourth-round home match against west London rival Chelsea.

QPR required a last-minute equalizer by Heidar Helguson to earn a replay against MK Dons and was again troubled by a team 30 places lower in English football's pyramid, with the visitors overrunning Mark Hughes' team at times and wasting some golden chances before Gabbidon struck.

"It was a tough game," said Gabbidon, whose goal ended QPR's 10-match run without a win. "We needed that little bit of luck."

Bolton, which also came from behind to earn a replay against lower-league opposition, beat fourth-tier Macclesfield 2-0 to reach the competition's last 32.

First-half goals by striker Kevin Davies and Bulgaria winger Martin Petrov set up an all-Premier League match against Swansea on Jan. 28.

Second-tier League Championship teams Leicester and Millwall also progressed from replays on Tuesday.

Earlier the story took a major twist when Colonel Gaddafi’s son made an appearance in central Tripoli, refuting rebels’ claims that he’d been arrested. @AHernamdez605 America will not fall into any trouble at all if they do not befriend the new Libyan gov. We do not need oil from that place, that is what Canada and Dubai is for. That country has absolutely no impact on the US at all. If anything Libya will end up screwing over Italy. Their country is in shambles, they are not very industrialized, a extremist regime like that of Iran’s would slow down it’s development....

After driving through rivers that were once roads and barely escaping panicked drivers, I returned home to the realization that I had never anticipated the difficulty of taking care of a dog when it rains. If you live in Seattle or some other rainy clime, please do enlighten me! A simple walk around the block turned into a muddy adventure and a smelly wet dog, followed by some fun wrestling as I tried in vain to clean up said odorous dog. Well after getting myself slimed by my once cute, but now stinky mutt, I settled in for some nice warm and cozy leftover soup last night. I spotted this recipe on Allrecipes.com and doctored it up with some garlic, veggies and spices and used ground turkey instead of beef. This is even tastier the next day as the flavors have a chance to meld. While I loved the combo of orzo, meatballs and veggies, I may experiment with adding some lemon juice for a little extra flavor in the broth. 3. Add in broth and increase heat to high. When boiling, drop in meatballs. Stir lemon zest and orzo. Season with a dash of salt and pepper, and the oregano. Return to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook at a slow boil for 10 minutes or until orzo is tender, stirring frequently. Add spinach and stir until wilted. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
