I’m not particularly patriotic, but every special event calls for a special outfit. Australia Day is coming up on the 26th, and this is the outfit I would like to wear. The perfect Australia Day includes a barbecue with friends, and fun by the sun, either at the beach, or near a pool. Australian sun is ruthless, so of course you need a hat and sunglasses. No one wears “normal” clothes on Australia Day; only bathers, and maybe something over the top for when it gets darker and cooler. Basically, on Australia Day, you dress as if you dress for the beach.
