Probably because i was always told that if you wear hats a lot you will loose your hair. Not sure if that is just a rumor or not, but its worth a try!!

Sky Mall, and the best worst Christmas gifts

Much like everywhere in the western world, we have entered into full time Christmas build-up. James Taylor is singing Christmas songs every time I turn on the radio. An inordinate amount of miniature Santa figurines are in shops. Lashings of fake snow abound.  New Kids on the Block are singing at the local Boston Christmas tree lighting .

The closest I've come to Christmas shopping so far has been to browse through Sky Mall flying home from Thanksgiving - it's the most terrible and brilliant catalogue of crap that is put in the seatback pockets of all major commercial aeroplanes.

I've long wanted to write a blog about Sky Mall. About six months ago they were selling toasters that burned a monogram of Darth Vader into the side of your bread, which about sealed them my undying customer disloyalty. It is compulsive reading, and is estimated to have an annual audience of 650 million.
